The Game

How It Works & How to Win

Team up, stay dry, and take out whoever the app throws at you. Outlast every other squad and the money is yours.

  1. 1

    Get your target

    Each Sunday night, Splashin hands you a fresh name to chase for the week.

  2. 2

    Track them down

    From Monday 7:00 AM to Sunday 9:00 PM, your job is to soak your target and catch it on video.

  3. 3

    Send the proof

    Post a clip with an obvious body hit straight into Splashin. If the shot isn't clean, it doesn't count and the chase is back on.

  4. 4

    Beat the clock

    Don't soak your target before the deadline and you're the one who's out. Once your target's down, jump in and help your team take out theirs.

  5. 5

    Outlast everyone

    New rounds, new targets, week after week. Whichever team is still standing at the end pockets the pot.

💧 Good to Go

  • Compact water blasters and Nerf soakers (think Super Soaker)
  • Loud, clearly-a-toy colors
  • A body soak you can actually see on video

⛔ Hard No

  • Anything black, silver, or grey that could pass for real
  • Anything shaped like an actual firearm
  • Zero water guns on school property, no exceptions

Only a visible body soak on your clip counts. Headshots, misses, and off-screen hits are nothing.

The Rulebook

Core Rules

Tap any group to open it. Read all of them, "I didn't know" won't win you a kill back.

📋 Ground Rules
  • Your assigned target is the only person you're allowed to soak. This isn't open season.
  • A new name drops every Sunday night; your window runs Mon 7:00 AM to Sun 9:00 PM.
  • Run out the clock without a hit and you're the one going home.
  • Cleared your target? Go help your squad take down theirs. Film it every time.
  • If a teammate gets soaked, the rest of you have to wipe out the target team's remaining players to keep your squad alive (and buy your teammate back in).
  • Every elimination and clip ends up on @orhsseniorassassin27.
🚙 Cars & Driving
  • No soaking anyone while either of you is rolling in a moving car.
  • Nobody can be behind the wheel during a hit, you or your target.
  • No firing through a car window.
  • Rolling up and parking to shoot is a drive-by. Not allowed.
  • A parked car with the engine off is fair game only if a window or door is already open.
  • You can't yank a door open to get someone, and no leaning out of a running car.
  • Never ram, tailgate, block a road, speed, or drive like an idiot for a kill. That gets your hits erased.
🏡 Homes & Property
  • Don't invade someone's immediate property (garage, porch, inside the house) unless you're invited, but their lawn is fine.
  • Leave your target's family alone and don't cause a scene (no leaning on the doorbell, no shoving doors).
  • ✔️ Legit: they're in the garage and you soak them from the driveway.
  • ✔️ Legit: they crack the front door and you tag them without stepping inside.
  • Never cut through a private business to reach someone.
🔥 The Purge (Wednesdays)
  • Every Wednesday for 24 hours, floaties, goggles, and vests protect nobody.
  • During the Purge anyone is fair game, but you still can't soak your own teammate.
  • Land two eliminations during the Purge and you lock in immunity for the rest of the week, and your team moves on to the next round.
  • Some weeks we'll toss in extra Purge days to loosen things up (outside those, it's still target-only).
🚨 Banned Moves
  • Never spray or chase anyone who isn't playing, students, adults, whoever.
  • No ripping off someone's shield, floaty, or blaster to score a hit or dodge one.
  • After dark, keep it low-key. Sprinting around with a blaster or trailing cars looks shady, and if someone calls the cops, that's on you.
  • When in doubt, use your head, if it feels illegal or against this guide, it is.
  • Break the rules and you can lose kills, land on the bounty list, or get tossed.

What to Send In

Every hit needs video, dropped straight into Splashin. Here's what makes one stick.

✔️ Counts

A Clip That Sticks

  • An obvious body soak on camera
  • Your target is clearly who it is
  • The actual hit is in the shot
  • Sent through the Splashin app itself
🚫 Doesn't

A Clip We Toss

  • The hit is off-screen or too blurry to tell
  • No clear body soak (a miss, or you're guessing)
  • Filmed in a safe zone or during safe hours
  • Pulled off with a banned move (drive-by, trespassing, whatever)

🎬 Filming Tips

Roll first, soak second. Hit record before you make your move so nothing gets missed.
Catch the face and the splash. We should see who got hit and where the water lands.
Keep it steady, don't cut early. Let the water actually connect on screen.
No clean shot? Go again. If the body soak isn't obvious, it's not a kill and they're still alive.

Stay Alive

Shields & Revives

🦺 Shields (Immunity)

  • Rock a floaty, goggles, or life vest and you can't be soaked.
  • Bring your own gear. Floaties have to be blown up, worn right, and easy to spot.
  • Goggles or a vest count too, goggles go on your head only; vests inflated and worn properly.
  • You can't hide behind a shield 24/7, and nobody rips someone else's off.
  • 🚫 None of it saves you during the Wednesday Purge.

🔁 Revives

  • Got soaked? Buy back in for $10 a player, once the whole game.
  • You can only revive in the round you died in, and you rejoin the following round.
  • If the rest of your team is out and doesn't want to buy back in, you can still revive on your own and keep playing solo.
  • Message @orhsseniorassassin27, send the cash, then confirm your name, IG @, and the round you lost.
  • Once it goes through, your revival gets announced in both the group chat and on the IG story. Cutoff is Sunday 9:00 PM when the round ends.
Wanted List

Bounties

Break a rule and you could land on the bounty list, fair game for the whole game.

  • Get caught breaking a rule and the admins hand you two options: take an elimination and sit out, or go up on the bounty list and let everyone come after you.
  • While you're listed, any player alive can soak you.
  • Bounties run anywhere from 24 hours to a week, admin's call based on what you did.
  • Bag a bounty and your squad scores a free revive 🫧.
  • Sticking someone on bounty doesn't make you safe from getting soaked.
  • Outlast your bounty window without getting hit and you stay in.
  • 🚨 Kill your location (or set it to "only while using the app") and you're getting bountied.
Good to Know

Edge Cases & FAQ

My target's out of town, now what?

Gone the whole week? Message us and we'll slide you to the next round, as long as you don't get soaked. Gone just a day or two? No mercy, you've got a full week to handle it.

My target lives outside San Diego.

Not ours to fix, you'll have to get creative. Everyone here is an ORHS senior; we don't check addresses.

Can I soak someone who isn't playing?

Never. Don't spray or chase students, adults, or anyone outside the game, and don't cause chaos for households or the public.

Someone's cheating, what do I do?

Send it to us with proof. We'll look into it before deciding anything. If cops show up over something dumb, we can't reverse that.

Who makes the final call?

The admins, every time. We're going off your video since we weren't there and can't be 100% sure either way. Don't argue the calls, just be patient and chill when you message. We've got lives too.

Could this get shut down?

Yep. If it turns reckless, dangerous, cop-worthy, or just not fun, we'll pull the plug for everyone. Keep it smart.

🙌 Play it cool: no speeding, tailgating, road-blocking, or anything illegal for a kill. That stuff ruins the fun, invites the cops, and can end the whole game. Hits will get pulled. Use common sense.
